tips and general household
information.
PURPOSE OF A HOME:
A. A sanctuary for your family (limit television, play games, "Listen" to each other)
B. Ministry tool: to the family first, then to others (remember to entertain those who cannot reciprocate)
A home is never to impress others or a means of competition…..that would be called a "house"; wood and mortar, but no heart and spirit.
JOKE:
A little boy was in a relative's wedding. As he was coming down the aisle, he would take two steps, stop, turn to the crowd, put his chubby hands up like claws and roar!
So he continuted all the way to the front….step, step, ROAR, step, step, ROAR
You can imagine how hard it was for the congregation to stay focused!
Later when asked, "what in the world were you doing"?
He replied: "I was being a Ring Bear"!

"Intaglio" is the Italian word for indention…to cut or incise. After the image is cut into a plate, it is covered w/a greasy printer's ink and carefully wiped clean so the ink remains only on the incised design. A sheet of moistened paper is placed over the plate and run through a press, transferring the image to paper. Areas which have been masked out during the process are still the original smooth metal & hold no ink; these are the white areas of the finished print. A true print of this nature will bear a visible "plate mark" within the margin of the uncompressed paper.
Renowned artists such as Rembrandt was famous for his etchings.
